With the enhancement in mobile phone, camera technology in mobile phone also enhanced, now a with advancement of smart phone, camera technology also shows smartness during last year.

Now coming to depth of this technology, it is based on principle of parallax which is the method used by astronomers to measure the distance nearby stars.,
There is a software by Pelican named of scientist, which can measure distance to a certain point in a image by sensing different points and angles on image.This is the way of recognizing the image form camera.
This software take the photo from sensors connected inside the camera in the form of arrays and combines all the point taken form the sensors, this image is not only a 8 magapixel but it is in more depth.This means in future we may have 100 or 200 magapixel camera in our mobile phones.
Unlike microsoft's kinect and other similar systems, this technology does not have bouncing light or laser off an object. This would make better than kinect technology in way that it can perform in bright light too.This whole system, sensors, covers, lens, all system is small enough that it can easily fits in to any smart phone.
