 How to change Gingerbread to Jelly bean: Convert old android to latest:-



Android is basically a Linux operating system designed from mostly touch screen phones.There are many version of android, latest among all is android 4.2.2 now a day.Every one has desire to get up to date android operating system for them some of the recent android operating system offers to upgrade your operating system to latest one but there old version android operating system like android 2.3 gingerbread cannot be updated to latest operating system.
Don't worry about it if you are using that old version, there are many ways to make it feel more modern.It actually won't upgrade your version to latest but replace some outdated parts of gingerbread to latest version like Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich.


Home Screen:
                    Android home screen and app box is known as launcher.Android supports third party launchers luckily.You can install new launcher if you want to make your home screen look latest android home screen.There is a launcher named as Holo Launcher, it is basically a software type which looks similar to latest android operating system like android 4.0 or above.Its app box, home screen and icons looks same as android 4's.
After installing this holo launcher in your android phone, you old version home screen will replace with the new one like as show in picture.

Browser:-
               For speed up and make your browser looks like new you have to update your android version but if you cannot upgrade your version then try this method.Old android operating system don't have latest search engine and cannot be updated.If you want to a new browser with latest search engine capability then try firefox or opera.Firefox and Opera use their latest web search engines which are derive by the Gecko and Presto engine.Firefox and Opera are updated automatically and both browser supports Gingerbread.
In simple words you have to install latest version of Firefox or Opera, they will automatically update to latest version of search engine.
After installing latest version of firefox or opera it looks like this in picture.

Lock Screen:-
                     Like holo launcher which upgrades your home screen and icon, there is another software holo locker you can search on internet.It gets Jelly bean's lock screen to your old version of android version.It offers an easy access to your most common apps like camera and text messages from lock screen.
After installing you will get fresh looking screen on your old version android phone like as shown in picture.

 Keyboard:-
                  Thanks God there is an app by android named as Jelly Beam keyboard, which will convert your old keyboard from your phone and replace it with latest version.
If you are looking for gesture typing feature found in android 4.2, you can install Swype for free.
After installing this to your phone it will looks like this as shown in picture.
